This video is the quadratic formula put to a song and dance to help my students memorize the formula. Sorry to put you through the torture of me singing.
The photos that I edited are the letters/words to the song in the middle of the video. I used mainly text effects with layering techniques, frames, and the painting tool to create the lyrics to the song.

podcast

Here is a link to my podcast http://msdzingle.podbean.com/feed/

In my podcast about using the quadratic formula to solve quadratic equations The three images that I edited was the title photo and the last to images. The introduction picture of the roller coaster I added text effects on top of the image. The image of the calculator and chalk board I used the rectangular Marquee tool to select the image and pasted the image on a background and then change the colors to gray scale. The credits image I used the collage technique using the Rectangular Marquee tool to select and copy the image and pasted it over the pink background. I rotated the image and then added text and shadows. To watch my podcast click on play in popup.

Here is my 2 minute video. The project ended up being 5 minutes instead of 2 minutes but I just could not cover the material I wanted to in that time frame. I will show this to my students at the beginning of the year next year to introduce centers to them.

Do You Believe!

I had a hard time deciding which video was my favorite. Dalton Sherman an elementary student or Abbot and Costello trying to do math. I decided on Dalton Sherman because he cracks me up with how much confidence he has when he is speaking to 20,000 teachers. He also delivers a great message to teachers that we need to make sure not give up on our students no matter the struggles we may come cross during the year. He speaks the truth that we may be the only person our students have. He makes me and I hope he makes you feel good about what we do after listening to him talk. We can make a difference, we are needed. This would be a great video to play at the beginning of the school year or when staff may need a moral booster.
